MILLEO, as an acronym of the names of the founder’s first two children, represents a formalized way of transfer knowledge, experience and insights to those who want to maintain health and well-being or improve their psycho-physical and functional abilities to be better prepared for everyday life challenges. In doing so, he links the knowledge of kinesiological and sports science and the various activities of the body, mind and spirit to health and well-being at all stages of life.
For many years this was only a complementary activity, but now it is his main activity, and it mainly concerns the following areas:
MILLEO Sport – sport and health-oriented psycho-physical activities,
MILLEO Tourism – one or more days, sport-related tourist experiences and camps,
MILLEO Education – education and training in the field of kinesiology and sport.
Activities are far from being limited to these areas. In his work, Dr. Mitja Gerževič likes to be professional, caring and consistent. He is very skilled in interpreting and transferring the results of kinesiological and sports diagnostic measurements, tests and analyses into various exercise, sports, recreational, preventive, fitness, strength and conditioning programmes for different target groups.
Prioritising the quality of his services, he prefers to work individually or in small, homogeneous groups with similar characteristics, where he can better tailor the content to the individual’s needs, preferences and capabilities.
In this context, he also collaborate with experienced professionals and institutions to ensure a more comprehensive and better quality service.
Services & Activities:
Strength and conditioning preparation and exercise mentoring programmes for different stages of life.
Exercise mentoring for people with chronic non-communicable diseases, for lifestyle changes or late rehabilitation after injuries.
Active-relaxation, boot and survival camps and other outdoor activities for smaller groups.
Team building (for corporate or sports teams; survival in nature – highlands, at the sea, in the forest, …).
Measurements, diagnostics, testing, and monitoring of performance, motor and functional abilities.
Lectures, training and consulting in the field of prevention, strength and conditioning, health-oriented exercise/training and for lifestyle change.
Trade & Marketing.
Life is an Imperfect Experience of Perfection.
By formal education, Mitja Gerževič is a Physical Education Teacher and Doctor of Science in the field of Kinesiology with many years of experience and expertise in the field of kinesiology and sports, higher education teaching and scientific research.
Experienced trainer – coach and mentor in the field of sports, strength and conditioning training, kinesiotherapy training in the late rehabilitation phase and health and well-being training for different target groups. Higher education teacher, Assistant Professor in the field of Kinesiology, but also a lifelong learner and researcher by heart and soul, who, in addition to the field of Kinesiology, also explores life, different forms and dimensions of our (co)existence, collaboration and actions in the society and beyond.
Author of numerous popular, professional and scientific articles, monographs and contributions to national and international conferences. More about authorship see the Slovenian Current Research Information System SICRIS.
Former rowing athlete, rowing coach and strength & conditioning trainer for various sports disciplines. Fan of water, winter and especially adrenaline sports; he has been a snowboarding and alpine skiing instructor.
Through his life, exploration and action so far, he has come to realise that life is an imperfect experience of perfection. Therefore, it is necessary to play with all that life has to offer; the good, the less good, for the highest good for all of us.
